Rumi’s Kitchen
THE ESSENCE OF PERSIAN HOSPITALITY
The fire of God’s love set a flame in Rumi’s heart eight centuries ago and produced a poet and a lover of humanity like few before or since. In Rumi’s’ poetry, love is the soul of the universe which heals all humans. In his own words, “Love is the heart’s paradise, having fountains & gardens....Within it the righteous eat & drink, & the free rejoice and are happy.” Rumi’s Kitchen is a place where hospitality, love, & friendship come together for the joy of the exquisite cuisine & traditions of Persia, the poetic land of Rumi. Rumi’s Kitchen draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile river in the west, to the mountains of northern India in the East, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north, to the deserts of Arabia in the South of the Persian Gulf. We invite you to experience the love & hospitality on which Rumi’s Kitchen has been established.
